🌿 Outdoor Timber Deck Maintenance

Context

The client asked me to restore their backyard timber deck. Its appearance was uneven and faded, partly due to a previous oiling job that had been done without proper preparation.

The Work

To bring the deck back to life, I followed a complete restoration process:

• Stripped the previous coating
• Washed the surface thoroughly with high-pressure water
• Sanded to remove residue and smooth the grain
• Allowed proper drying time
• Applied three coats of high-quality decking oil

The Result

The deck now looks rich, clean, and like new again, with enhanced natural timber tones and lasting protection.

The client was very pleased with the result — and it shows.
