Context

The client had recently renovated part of their home and asked me to repaint the updated area to reflect the clean, modern look they were after.

Scope of the Work

This project involved more than a basic refresh. The space featured:

  • Numerous cracks that had to be carefully repaired
  • New plasterboard sections requiring sealing and finishing
  • Fresh door jambs and trims for built-in wardrobes
  • A stair handrail that needed to be sanded back and completely refinished

Each surface and element required a different preparation and paint product, with attention to durability and final appearance.

Colours and Finishes

Walls, ceilings, doors, and trims were painted in different tones, chosen to complement each other and give depth to the space.

The contrast was subtle yet effective, and contributed to the high-end finish the client was looking for.

Result

The result is a refreshed, cohesive look that ties the renovated section seamlessly into the rest of the home.

The client was particularly happy with the handrail restoration and the tonal balance across all surfaces — as shown in the final video.
